‘Marvela and the Broken Waters’ Book Signing with Kathy Ellis

Kathy wishes to share her three books of poetry, but especially her latest publication of poetry, Marvela and the Broken Waters, an illustrated poem novella on healing, justice, and feminism. The story takes place underwater between West Africa, the  New World, and colonial powers.

About Kathy
Kathy Ellis is an international author who lives locally right here in Sandy Springs. Kathy has published three books of poetry, Marvela and the Broken Waters, Wings from Roots, and Primero.
Kathy has received honorable mentions and awards for her poetry in Georgia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Michigan, California, and Ireland.  Kathy is an Intercultural Communication trainer, a Language Coach for ESL speakers, and prepares Ukrainian and Afghan women refugees for the American workplace.
